Neon Abyss 2 System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

Neon Abyss 2 hits Steam in full on October 8. Here are the minimum specs, what a low-end PC can expect and the price, so you know if it will run.

Neon Abyss 2 leaves Early Access and launches in full on October 8, 2026, on Steam as well as PS5, Xbox Series and Switch. The sequel to Veewo Games’ neon-soaked run-and-gun roguelike has been playable on PC since July 2025, so the good news is that its hardware demands are already well known and very low.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Dual-core 2.4 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 950, Radeon R7 360 or Intel HD Graphics 630
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 2 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

The Steam page does not publish a full recommended spec. It only asks for a 64-bit processor and operating system and DirectX 12. If that changes at the 1.0 launch we will update this page. In practice, treat the minimum list as the floor and add a few extras below if you want a comfortable experience.

  • Processor: any quad-core CPU from the last eight years or so
  • Memory: 8 GB is fine, 16 GB if you keep a browser and Discord open
  • Graphics: a GTX 1050 Ti or better for steady frames in busy co-op fights
  • Storage: an SSD, mostly for faster loading between runs

What to Expect at Each Tier

On the minimum spec, a GTX 950 or an Intel HD 630 laptop should run the game, but the screen fills up quickly. Enemies, bullets, pets and item effects pile on top of each other, and that is where older integrated graphics will struggle. Expect to lower effects and to see occasional dips in late-game rooms.

With a mid-range card you should hold a smooth frame rate at 1080p without touching settings. This is a 2D-style game with stylized visuals, so a high-end GPU gives you very little extra. Four-player online co-op adds network load more than graphics load, so a stable connection matters about as much as the graphics card. Steam lists full controller support, and the game works well on a gamepad.

Release Date, Platforms and Price

  • Release date: October 8, 2026 (1.0 launch)
  • Platforms: PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch
  • Developer / publisher: Veewo Games / Kepler Ghost
  • Price: $19.99 on Steam, shown at $15.99 with a 20% discount when we checked

The 1.0 build adds four-player online co-op, an expanded weapon system, unlimited item synergies, Hatchmon creatures and a Faith System. One trade-off to keep in mind: roguelikes like this live or die on how many runs you want to play, so if you only enjoy a few hours of the genre, the Early Access price may not be worth it for you. If you already play games like Hades or Enter the Gungeon, it is an easy fit for a low-spec PC.
