Silver Pines is a side-scrolling survival horror metroidvania set in small town America, developed by Wych Elm and published by Team17. What to Expect at Each Tier
The two tiers sit very close together. Both ask for 8 GB of RAM and 5 GB of disk space, and the main differences are a slightly newer CPU and a GTX 770 class card instead of a GTX 660 Ti. Because the game is a 2D side-scroller, the hardware load is far lighter than a typical 3D horror release.
At minimum, expect a playable experience on older desktops and budget laptops. At the recommended tier, you should get a steadier frame rate during busy fights. Steam does not list target resolutions or frame rates, so treat those as unknown until players post benchmarks after launch. One oddity: the listed graphics cards are fairly old, and the DirectX 12 requirement means very old GPUs may still fail even if they look fast enough on paper.
