What to Expect at Each Hardware Tier
At minimum spec, Steam’s own listing targets 1080p Low at 60fps with upscaling turned on rather than native resolution — treat that as the honest floor, not a comfortable target. Worth flagging: 16 GB RAM is listed for both minimum and recommended, but early gameplay footage has shown memory use creeping past that figure once a 100-player match gets busy, so 16 GB is closer to a bare minimum than a safe cushion. At recommended spec you’re looking at 1440p Medium around 70fps native, or 4K Medium at 60fps+ with upscaling. Because WARDOGS simulates destruction and combined-arms combat across large maps with up to 100 players, CPU speed tends to set your FPS ceiling more often than GPU horsepower does — a strong single/multi-core CPU will matter more here than in most shooters.

WARDOGS launches into Early Access on PC via Steam on September 10, 2026, priced at $39.99. It’s Windows-only at launch (no Mac or Linux support), with partial gamepad support and light aim assist for controller players.
