EA Sports FC 27 System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

EA Sports FC 27 is out now in early access. Here are the official minimum and recommended PC specs, release dates, and price.

EA Sports FC 27 is already playable. Ultimate and Ultimate Plus edition buyers got early access on PC starting September 18, and the standard edition lands on Steam on September 24, with the EA App and console versions following a day later. If you’re wondering whether your PC can actually run the thing before you commit to a 100GB download, EA has published the full spec sheet.

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11, 64-bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 6700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • RAM: 12GB, dual channel
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 or AMD RX 5600 XT
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 100GB, SSD recommended
  • Connection: 512 kbps for online modes

What to Expect at Each Tier

The minimum spec is built around a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570, both cards from the late 2010s. That gets you a playable match at 1080p on lower settings, but don’t expect a locked 60fps, especially in Ultimate Team menus with a full stadium of crowd animation loaded in. Eight gigs of RAM is also the bare floor these days, and background apps like Discord or a browser with too many tabs open will eat into that fast.

Step up to the recommended tier and a GTX 1660 or RX 5600 XT should hold 1080p at high settings without much fuss, with 1440p on medium being realistic too. The extra 4GB of RAM matters more than the CPU bump here, since FC’s engine leans on memory for texture streaming during replays and camera cuts. An SSD isn’t required, but with match loading and halftime transitions happening constantly, it’s the upgrade that will actually feel different, whichever tier you’re on.

Release Date, Platforms, and Price

Ultimate and Ultimate Plus editions unlocked early access on September 18 across EA App, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch 2 (Ultimate Plus skips Switch and Epic Games Store). The standard edition arrives on Steam September 24 and is priced at $69.99, with the EA App, console, and Nintendo Switch versions releasing alongside it. A free FC 27 Lite version is also scheduled to go live on September 25. If you’re still deciding which edition makes sense, the Ultimate tiers mainly add early access and Ultimate Team bonus content rather than anything that changes performance, so the system requirements above apply across the board.
