Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea hits consoles Sept 24, but PC arrives Oct 15. Here are the official minimum and recommended specs.

Harvest Moon is going 3D and open world with Echoes of Teradea, and the console versions land September 24, 2026. If you’re planning to play on PC instead, there’s a wrinkle worth knowing before you get your hopes up for launch week: the Steam release is scheduled separately, for October 15, 2026. The good news is Natsume has already published PC specs on the Steam store page, so you can check now whether your rig is ready by the time it actually unlocks.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7200U @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs)
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F @ 3.70GHz (6 CPUs)
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

What to Expect at Each Tier

Two things stand out here. First, both tiers ask for 16 GB of RAM with no lower option, which is unusual for a farming sim and points to a heavier 3D engine than past entries. Second, the minimum CPU listed is a laptop chip, the i5-7200U, paired with a GTX 1650. That combination will likely get you a stable experience at lower settings and resolution, but don’t expect it to look like the marketing screenshots. It’s a “this will run” bar, not a “this will look good” bar.

The recommended spec is a much bigger jump: a 12th-gen six-core i5 and an RTX 4060. That’s a mid-range gaming PC from the last couple of years, not bargain-bin hardware, and it suggests Natsume wants the game’s new open-world exploration, climbing, and animal traversal mechanics to run smoothly rather than choppily. If your PC was built in the last three to four years for even modest 1080p gaming, you should be in recommended territory or close to it.

Release Date, Platforms, and Price

Echoes of Teradea releases on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24, 2026. The PC version on Steam is planned for October 15, 2026, roughly three weeks later. Console pricing is confirmed at $49.99 for PS5 and Switch, and $59.99 for the Switch 2 edition; Steam hasn’t posted a price yet since the store page isn’t open for pre-purchase.

Developed by Natsume Inc. and IMAGICA GEEQ, this entry moves the series into full 3D open-world territory, with caves, islands, and towns to explore, animal companions that help you traverse the map, a campsite travel system, and ten romanceable villagers. The story follows a mysterious mist spreading from the Forest of Echoes and threatening Bloomfield Village, giving the usual farming-and-friendship loop an actual plot to chase alongside your crops.

Should You Wait for PC?

If you already own a console, September 24 is your date. If you’re set on playing with mouse and keyboard, the three-week wait means you’ll also benefit from any day-one patches the console versions shake out first, which is rarely a bad trade for a new engine like this one.
