Nivalis Nights System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

Nivalis Nights launches September 29 on PC. Here's the minimum and recommended specs for ION LANDS' cyberpunk life sim, plus price and platform details.

Nivalis Nights arrives on Steam September 29, 2026, and it’s a bigger technical ask than its cozy premise suggests. Developer ION LANDS (the studio behind the earlier Nivalis) and publisher 505 Games have built a dense, vertical cyberpunk city where you start with a noodle stand and work your way up to owning restaurants and nightclubs, all while juggling relationships, fishing trips, and the occasional back-alley chess tournament. That kind of persistent, living world doesn’t come cheap on hardware. Here’s what your PC needs to run it.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / RTX 3050, AMD Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A750 (6 GB VRAM)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 42 GB available space

Steam lists the floor as 1080p at 30 FPS on the “very low” preset, with no upscaling factored into that number. An SSD isn’t a suggestion here either, it’s required, which says a lot about how much the game leans on fast streaming to keep its neon city loaded in as you move through it.

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-13600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (12 GB VRAM or more)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 42 GB available space

That tier is built for 1440p at 60 FPS on the “high” preset, again without upscaling doing any of the work. On laptops, ION LANDS points to an RTX 4080 or RTX 5080 mobile GPU with at least 12 GB of VRAM, and warns that mobile chips underperform their desktop namesakes even when the model number lines up.

What to Expect at Each Tier

The RAM requirement is the strangest part of this sheet. Sixteen gigabytes at both the minimum and the recommended tier is unusual, most games scale memory up as the visual settings climb, but Nivalis Nights asks for the same amount no matter how the game looks on screen. That suggests the simulation layer itself, tracking businesses, relationships, and a city full of scripted routines, is what’s eating memory, not the graphics preset.

The GPU jump is the bigger story for most players. A GTX 1660 SUPER and an RTX 4070 aren’t in the same league, and going from 6 GB to 12 GB of VRAM points to textures and lighting that scale hard between presets. If your card lands in the middle, something like an RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT, expect a comfortable 1080p experience but some settings trimmed if you push for 1440p.

Release Date, Platforms, and Price

Nivalis Nights releases September 29, 2026 on Steam for Windows PC, published by 505 Games. The game was known simply as Nivalis for most of its development, so older trailers, wishlists, and store listings may still show that name. Pricing hadn’t been officially posted on the Steam page as of this writing, so it’s worth checking the listing directly closer to launch before deciding whether to pre-order.
