RuneScape: Dragonwilds System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?

RuneScape: Dragonwilds hits 1.0 on Sep 15, 2026. Full minimum and recommended PC specs plus what to expect at each hardware tier.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds leaves Early Access and launches into 1.0 on September 15, 2026, bringing Jagex’s survival-crafting spinoff to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time alongside its existing PC release on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game has already sold more than a million copies during its Early Access run, so a lot of people are about to find out whether their rig is ready for the full launch, which adds the new Scorned Wilderness zone and the Umbral Sands content on top of everything that came before.

The good news for anyone worried about their hardware: this is a relatively light Unreal Engine 5 title. Jagex didn’t lean on ray tracing or the kind of GPU-melting settings that have made some recent UE5 releases a headache to run. Here’s exactly what you’ll need.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A750 (8GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 25 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband internet connection
  • Storage: 25 GB available space

What to Expect at Each Tier

On the minimum spec, a GTX 1060 or RX 5600 XT will get you into Ashenfall at 1080p on lower settings, and 8 GB of RAM is enough as long as you don’t run much else in the background. It’s a survival game with a lot of gathering and base-building, so expect some stutter once your builds get large and the world fills up with saved structures.

The recommended tier, built around an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT with 16 GB of RAM, is where the game is meant to be played. That’s enough for 1080p at higher settings or a stable 1440p experience, and it gives you more headroom for the new areas added in the 1.0 update. Note the broadband requirement on the recommended spec too, since Dragonwilds is built around co-op play with friends.
