The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 enters Early Access on September 17, 2026, bringing a fresh take on the classic medieval business sim back to PC. Developed by Ashborne Games and published by THQ Nordic, it puts you in charge of a fledgling dynasty, managing trade, climbing the political ladder, and dealing with rivals across multiple generations.
Before you dive in, check whether your PC meets the requirements. This game runs on Unreal Engine 5, so the specs are on the higher side for a strategy title.
Minimum System Requirements
These are the lowest specs THQ Nordic officially supports. Expect reduced visual settings at this tier.
- OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 20 GB available space
Recommended System Requirements
The recommended tier is where the game runs well at higher settings, with smooth framerates in larger city scenes.
- OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 20 GB available space
What to Expect at Each Tier
The RTX 2060 minimum is worth flagging. This is not a lightweight strategy game — Unreal Engine 5’s lighting and detailed medieval city environments push the GPU harder than most top-down simulations do. If you’re running something older like a GTX 1070 or RX 580, you may struggle even at low settings.
At the minimum tier, expect playable performance at 1080p with reduced quality. Framerate drops are likely in busier city areas with more characters and buildings on screen.
At the recommended tier (RTX 4070 / RX 7800 XT), you should be comfortable at 1440p or 1080p at high settings. The medieval city visuals and character animations are where this hardware pays off.
One thing to note: RAM is 16 GB for both tiers. There is no 8 GB minimum here, so if your system has 8 GB, upgrade before buying.
